Is Dtv Getting Boring?

Truely Wrong "Neighbor" lol. I merely found it entertaining. I been on this site for a long long time. and I just noticed a huge change in the site's content. True veterans would at least admit it changing. But ill always still love the site. I just see the differences in the site over the years. But the elenin months were exciting. You decided to join around that time.

I have an interesting point to make on this subject.
It is not my intention to draw the ire of site veterans, mods or anyone at all, really.
But as I have been viewing this site, forum and all, for more than a few years I will agree that the amount and variety of content has diminished here considerably.
It is important to remember that DTV is user content driven.
I have noticed a (sometimes not so) quiet exodus of long time contributing members over the years and to be honest I don't think it is because they found a better site (that I know of). For one reason or another a lot of the contributors of videos and forum threads that I used to enjoy have left or been banned for one reason or another...I also think it is likely that some gave up after years of dealing with the kind of folks that are constantly looking for every opportunity to 'take the piss' on every thread or subject. Threads get hijacked and derailed. Personal quarrels and frivolous posting can get old. And I will dare to say that not all mods are objective angels all of the time.
All of that said, I decided to join DTV because it still is a free forum for the exchange of ideas and information, and if you look around it is still the best free site on the web for these things that I know of (pm if you know better thnx) on the web and there are still some fairly bright folks here lurking in the woodwork. It is important to remember that (imo) this site and all (?) others like it are monitored by govt shill and shlacks that can see your IP so caution or provisions are expedient. Other than all that I am glad this site is here for us and I for one will be looking for ways to make it better and more interesting..either through videos I hunt down (once I can figure out how to post them lol) or the spirit of heated debate with worthy and misguided ( :mrgreen:

) opponents.
DTV still rocks.
Just not as hard or as loud.
BE THE CHANGE.

The continuous popularity of, 'Add A Word', banal, childish, waste of time, 'Add A Word',
is a good indication of forum maturity.
Maturity past ripeness. Kind of like Demi Moore.
The question of is it boring has been settled. Apparently it is boring.

The next question is, what are we gonna do about it ?

i think we all suffer from information overload and just... don't do anything like what we could with the information we have.

we are the eyes ears and brain of society.

look at the clueless yobs out on the street.

When reaching out I often find myself getting negative. "You goddamn clueless yobs."
Being one to wear it on my face, reaching out cannot happen when in this condition.

Problem is all has been said, time and time again. And the pattern repeats itself,.. same old, same old.

Nothing new in the news department worth dissecting anymore.
We have seen it all it seems. And all the major assholes have been banned or otherwise left the site, no one to argue with anymore also.

I think it's more profitable maybe to either: quote the real author: Solomon OR rephrase it, instead of saying "the bible says", because people get turned off to that, really fast. They put you in the -crazy bunch- box.

And yes, Solomon did indeed say that, and how true it is.

I think alot of people come on here because they initially think it is cool to be involved in a "conspiracy" site, but suddenly shit their pants when they find out it is not a conspiracy after all, it is the truth and the truth freaks them out.
A lot that have joined recently seem to be obsessed with fear porn, quite why anyone would be excited about a large comet or asteroid crashing into the planet and killing millions or perhaps all, is beyond my comprehension.
