The mind is a powerful thing, and can easily be seen in the placebo effect.
Being that we all are generators of energy, it would be logical to assume that energy could be channeled, focused or transmitted. (Power of prayer?)

There seems to be a gap at this point, that only comes active by "defect" and is rare to be seen or monitored, But present none the less. That is Human in origin, and not supernatural, but superhuman.

In the idea of the great year, and cycles of the yugas, the Satya, Treta, Dvapara, and Kali yugas which spans 26000 years ( give or take a few thousand), also called the 'Platonic year'.
During this time different ages of enlightenment and achievement takes place. eventually resulting in a golden year ( it lasts 1000s of years) that is said to be the tip of enlightenment, and empowerment, and once it has passed, descends in to lesser enlightened periods.

Here is a video that talks about such, a great Docu that i have posted before, and continue to enjoy.

I think the presence of those who can bend reality and shock and awe the rest of us, has gave way to many stories that become the root source of many myths and god figures in history. Like chinese whispers it grows and become more then it was, but was rooted in some truth at one time.

Brenda Hewett was attending a lower-league ice hockey match in her home town of Massena, New York, when she was persuaded to take part in the traditional half-time entertainment in which fans must hit a puck into a tiny hole scarcely bigger than the puck itself.

Much against her better judgement, Brenda was persuaded to be the first of the five fans that night to have a go at the length-of-the-rink shot.

"Oh god, I don't wanna be first, I'm going to look foolish," she said - but ended up looking anything but as she calmly knocked the puck clean through the tiny gap.

The crowd roared, the players came onto the ice to congratulate the unlikely heroine, and Brenda got to drive away in a brand-new Ford F150 4x4 truck courtesy of Frenchie's Ford in Massena.
