perhaps, there have been reports in the media of cats in retirement homes curling up next to a person who is about to die.

animals do have other perceptions of reality than humans.

it's not in the real of the impossible to assume that cats or other animals can actually see shit we can't

for example, some birds can see UV

I think asking a human "is it true" about what animals may or may not see would be extremely difficult to answer with any certainty, as good as we have become at the sciences. :cheers:
