This is tried to answer in different directios thus facing different perspectives. And it is always difficult finding peace between two different points of perceivingt the question.

I should notice that only beings with a neocortex as part of the cerebral cortex (see anatomical maps) commit suicide. From this it is very likely that also beings with a brain structure similar to our neocortex and enhanced brain developed beings - should they exist - have to deal with mental disorders and suicide.
