I hate to say you are wrong. There is much to see and learn in the earlier pages. I am also sure there will be much more to see in future. Many items yet to be observed now and in the future. I actually would have expected more from you Skydog on your reasoning of, why there is nothing to see here.

Many are still debating on how fragmented Ison has become. Keep in mind just because it has fragmented does not mean Ison is dead well maybe but also think of it as giving birth to smaller objects in a way. Not saying it will ever return or not spread up into fragments that will be of nothing to see here. But carrying on with watching give us some data and perspective to compare on future events.

It is my belief that the highlighted area is Ison and or what it is at this point.

As far as the Solar poles shifting some say it already has.

Having watched BPearthwatchs' vid about Ison being like a "handful of gravel" and the fact that Ison made it past the sun surely means whats left is either dense rock or iron ?

So if its rocks or lumps of iron from a 12 mile diameter comet just how much is there & are the pieces big enough to track/ observe ?

Are smaller pieces more likely to be pulled in by earths gravity/ will the break up fire some bits our way ?

Are we likely to get serious meteor showers after Christmas ?

If so will they be like that Russian meteorite ? :nails:

Many assumed it was dead, but NASA has published a new video showing comet ISON surviving its close encounter with our home star on November 28, 2013, getting launched by the Sun's gravity into a new lap around the solar system. It's cool too watch. See you soon, Silver Surfer!

Hey no prb Skydog. Your not the only one. I have been very patient in coming to conclusions at this time. The next day or two I am hoping some data will come in to make a reasonable conclusion. Post any thoughts ya have. I do know your knowledgeable in this area. Hope you contribute more in the future. No matter what becomes of Ison.
