Maybe it is just me, but when I see the Haaretz news article:

It makes me think that they are terrified of a breakdown of peace between themselves and Egypt. Obviously they are not coming from a position of confidence when they have approached the US and other countries basically pleading for them to force Egypt to honor its peace agreement.

I do not expect Egyptians will honor anything except themselves.

This makes it appear to me that Israel thinks there is a good possibility that it is being hung out to dry.

Maybe I am reading too much into this.

Agreed... fuck hating anyone.... If I ever want to hate anyone it will be for my own reasons not because someone told me to and not because of any propaganda I see, hear or read.

Ok so the Jews had it tough, so did the Christians, so did the Muslims, so did the Tibetan monks... seems to me that ALL religions have had their fair share of 'evil' thrust upon them at some point... That does not give me or anyone else any reason to hate anyone.

What I do detest is the hardline stance taken by ANY religious person purely on the grounds of their religion. It appears that they are brainwashed and are often incapable of reasoning or following any logic.

I think the foundation of ALL religion is based on peace and love, funny how strongly religious people show anything but, especially when it relates to opposing religious views.

My stance is clear..
You want to bring stability to the world, peace, love and respect for humankind??
You want to achieve every good espoused by all religions??

Get rid of all religious indoctrinations and start by making people see that we are all equal and love and hate is purely personal, nothing to do with views and opinions about a subset of our race.

The truth is in the contradiction. Religions that are set up to unite often divide. Thinking this through logically, every time we set up a ‘club’ we automatically divide ourselves from the rest of society, we are automatically stating that we belong to an order that not everyone belongs to. Religion is the same on a much grander scale.

You are judged by your actions not by your convictions, even if your convictions lead you to action it is your actions that perform the evil. No one has ever been found guilty of ‘thinking’ about a crime, it is when the thought is enacted that the crime is perpetuated and conviction is dealt.

Eliminate all divisive indoctrination.
