BBC News reports: “Israeli aircraft have struck an alleged weapons factory and two suspected smuggling tunnels in the Gaza Strip.

Palestinian officials reported no casualties, but Reuters news agency said three people had been injured in the attack.

The airstrike, in the Khan Younis area of the Gaza Strip, followed the launch of a rocket from Gaza into the western Negev desert on Wednesday morning.

No-one was injured by the rocket, which hit a patch of open ground.

Rocket attacks have decreased since the Israeli forces led a war against Hamas in the Gaza strip, which began in December last year, the Israeli military says.

But it says rocket-building materials are still being smuggled into Gaza through tunnels dug from the Egyptian border...”
