I don't ever post unless I'm sure, I see way toooo much BS and straight out lies on here so I'm always cautious.. China has the bug in place and they can't stop what has been set to happen, all computer operated devices will fail and stay down for up to two years...

My quote: Deployment commanders are not Army.... They are DOD and no this isn't some crap story..Believe what you want. I'm just trying to share what I was told...My contact (family) doesn't cry wolf....I hear a lot of BS and conspiracy but I'm not hear to spread it..:-)

Side note for those welcoming destruction:

The optimism bias (also known as unrealistic or comparative optimism) is a bias that causes a person to believe that they are less at risk of experiencing a negative event compared to others. There are four factors that cause a person to be optimistically biased: their desired end state, their cognitive mechanisms, the information they have about themselves versus others, and overall mood.[1] The optimistic bias is seen in a number of situations. For example: people believing that they are less at risk of being a crime victim,[2] smokers believing that they are less likely to contract lung cancer or disease than other smokers, first-time bungee jumpers believing that they are less at risk of an injury than other jumpers,[3] or traders who think they are less exposed to losses in the markets.[4]

Although the optimism bias occurs for both positive events, such as believing oneself to be more financially successful than others and negative events, such as being less likely to have a drinking problem, there is more research and evidence suggesting that the bias is stronger for negative events.[1][5] However, different consequences result from these two types of events: positive events often lead to feelings of well being and self-esteem, while negative events lead to consequences involving more risk, such as engaging in risky behaviors and not taking precautionary measures for safety.[1]

Name your source, otherwise it's speculation without any firm foundation.

Also time frames, and specifics, especially considering you claim to have a source high up enough in the Chinese government to claim these things, a government so secretive and repressive that it all but invalidates a claim like this alone.

Specifics, sources, or this is just fearmongering, you also seem adamant in your replies, so with a claim this big, simply stating something this sensational, with zero detail, no sources, and no real valid evidence other than possible third hand testimony, which you seem unwilling to divulge at all.

It doesn't look good, what do you think ?.

Do you live in China or N Korea? If not, why would this family member feel the need to warn you?

Even if it were true.. I don't understand the overwhelming appearance of joy this type of news brings to people??? I mean, think about it for a sec... global upheavel, war, famine, death, etc etc..

What do people think is likely to happen to them in the event that a major issue like this does evolve? Do people think their lives are going to get better?

(not that I think this story has any merit)... as others have pointed out, town cryers are a dime a dozen.. and there are far too many sheeple waiting for this type of news to come through, hence the eagerness for some to spout it...

I am calling :bullshit: on this one.... but  anyway, you will feel at home here
