The operator of Japan's tsunami-hit nuclear plant said it aims to reduce radiation leaks within three months and to achieve a ''cold shutdown'' within six to nine months.

The Tokyo Electric Power Company offered the timetable more than five weeks after a giant earthquake quake and tsunami knocked out cooling systems at its six-reactor Fukushima Daiichi power station.

If this is anything like projected video game deadlines, it will be at least twice as long.

they told us here on national tv that it will take up at 6 till 9 months, well i think as long that al gore and his brotherhood , are making more money on the green idea, they simple let the nuclear pit open. Smells as a big SCAM.
