and honestly, it was about 45 minutes

It took longer because I had to find a laptop in the house, I still use an old CRT monitor for my graphics work. I like the color depth

Something about flat screens just ain't right.

this is entirely unconnected to the jerusalem 'ufo', but ufo related ;

i was idly thinking about the best camera for scouring the night skies looking for weirdness, and thought a thermal camcorder would be cool. not many thermal ufo captures around as far as i'm aware. bit of googling later i found that a SECOND HAND flir camcorder costs $31,000!
so endeth the dream, back to the reality of my extremely poor camera and phone :cry:

oh trust me, if I had access to that kind of camera? I would host a live feed every night and take requests of where to scan the skys....

Armed with Stellarium and any host of satellite searches so I know what is in the area...and just let it run.
