This looks like the images NASA showed us when the Rover landed and put the pics in Black & White.
JPL shows what the rover saw then the video goes to the black and white pics..
Here is a screenshot...looks like an it has an atmosphere to me...

The colors in the main image are unmodified from those returned by the camera. While it is difficult to say whether this is what a human eye would see, it is what a cell phone or camcorder would record since the Mastcam takes color pictures in the exact same manner that consumer cameras acquire color images. The colors in a second version linked to the main image have been modified as if the scene were transported to Earth and illuminated by terrestrial sunlight. This processing, called "white balancing," is useful for scientists to be able to recognize and distinguish rocks by color in more familiar lighting.

I think this whole mission is an illuminati plan to stage disclosure and a "universal threat" because IT IS THE ONLY WAY martial law could happen...
JPL is gonna give up some big surprises soon about mars....
there is no doubt that flashed that pic for a reason

I'm not seeing the blue skies in those pictures, but...

On January 10, 2004, the Mars Rover science team unveiled some of the first true images of Mars showing a Blue Sky at a news conference at the Jet Propulsion Laboratory in Pasadena, California.

Jessica Samuels - I'd like to give her a Curiosity Rover Report.
I'd tap it.
Oh BTW, at the 0:12 mark and ONWARD, that's an animation. Unless of course we were already standing on Mars filming the drop ship dropping the Rover. Not.
Its all JPL animation dude. There is no colorized footage except the B&W inserts.
BUT...........
It WILL be interesting to see what the color shots produce (IF they release them).
Cheers
