July 21-22, 2009 Earthquake predicted

Just watched something on national geographic with James Berkland, about the prediction of major earthquakes based on when the moon is at its closest, perigee, and during solar eclipses. The program was i think a few years old. I went to my pc to look at when and where the next solar eclipse/perigee would occur. Astonishingly, it is soon. Real soon.

The next perigee is

Looks to me like they're basing the hoax on the eclipse info. and not factoring in the perigree.

Then too, for the perigree info to hold merit, we need to see a past history connecting it with earth quakes.

being a california native, i am used to EQ predictions...
so many have been made, i kind of learned to take
them "in stride" and with a grain of salt

however, i am not stupid nor am i uninformed, so every morning
i check this website out of hungary, cuz i cannot trust the USGS

also, we have learned from empirical evidence that one of the
best predictors = actions of pets/animals... my son still lives
in san francisco and i remind him to keep an eye on pet
"lost and found" in the sf chronicle... when listings double or
triple, time to stay on your toes

one last thing... the survival technique i was taught
throughout the years was WRONG, i.e., do NOT huddle
under a desk (or anything else) as you could get pancaked
under falling debris... instead, find the "triangle of life"
which is to crouch next to the biggest, strongest thing near
you (so BESIDE the desk, not under it)

also, if inside, try to position yourself as close to an opening to the
outside as possible, so there is less distance to cover when the
time comes to "dig out"/escape

Where I live they have just conducted training at a recently closed down high school on how to react during an earthquake. Funny thing is, we never get them.
