OK, here's what this one means to me. Some may think I was going to make a "999" speculation, but no; not for this ...

I believe the tiny circles linking each of these are the key to understanding this message. I believe these are 10 snap shots of an Event happening (possibly a Comet impact or a cosmic wave or flare). The final one (the 10th) is the largest circle and that's good ole Earth in the center of this impact. The pond is actually a 3-D shot of the Earth impact and how it will remove a very large junk of the Earth, enough to expose the mantle and the inner molten core. Notice how the water is murky brown ... if they (whoever they is) wanted to, they could have made the water clear to indicate a water impact of some kind.

Anyhow, that's just my gut interpretation! What do you think Eagan?

The clue to it being man made is with in the crop circle itself.

They have effectively portrayed nine planets. Now an alien species would know that pluto is not worthy to be included in the planet mix. Its too far out to be effected by anything but the explosion of the sun. Flares and ejections would not make it as far as pluto or at least would not be of any danger if they did. Even the expansion of the sun before its death will only take out the inner planets.

Also............if they did feel the need to include pluto then they would have also included the rest of the minor planets.

Someone was still working under the assumption that pluto was a planet and did not know the science of flares and ejections.

True but if the aliens have been around - which we're assuming they have - then they know that up until very recently Pluto was considered a planet. (also we have to assume that aliens would only know not to call Pluto a planet because of us. They most likely have a different method of categorizing not only planets but everything)

I feel they believe that the majority of earth's population still think of pluto as a planet only because the change is so recent. Is it smarter to warn people with the nine we've been used to for hundreds of years or the very recent 8 planets???...all I'm saying....

That doesn't hold water though...............let me explain why.

First if they have that kind of knowledge of how we view the solar system that they would include pluto they would also have to know we no longer think of pluto as a planet. so thats a catch 22.

If they categorize planets differently then they would have either left pluto out or included all the minor planets as I stated before. Pluto is just too far out to be considered. so an alien species looking at us from great distances would see all the other minors including pluto and dismiss them as large asteroids as we have started doing.

So your only options are 8 planets sans pluto or twelve+ planets including all the minors.
