Sir, the Trueman show is an excellent example. We go through the facade (no offence intended), we try and learn the truth, then move on from there. Which eventually has led us to here and other places. There is a reality out there. Somewhere.

So discussing god is never futile. Expecting to accurately articulate it is.
Expecting faulty men over thousands of years to get it right is silly too.
Doesnt mean they all dont have a piece of the puzzle.

There IS a reason the dark side contains power and wisdom and influence.
There IS a reason that choosing to turn the other cheek places you at the mercy of the world and makes you vulnerable.

So that YOU must make the choice how to proceed through life.

Some principalities are NOT within us, they are outside of us, existing independantly.
The nonsense that it is all internal and self generated, is self delusional and dangerous..and inflationary of the humans place in the great mystery.

Jesus went into the desert and answered these questions for himself.
Far past the mystery, the mythology...he went, and the powers tempted him.

Why do we have free will?
That that in the end, god can acurately assess who his real worshippers really were.
That by virtue of how we played the game, is how we are judged.

I was going to say earlier when I had first logged on and read this thread what a sense of peace and well being I had, which has been with me all day.

Sometimes when "Just a Thought" is shared, it is much more than just a thought, but an extension to others that can effect in profound and wonderful ways.

In my view, religion did not create God just as God did not create religion.

Everything is up to us personally, and being open to other perspectives is a duty in life.

Every religion contains wisdom, one religion does not contain all wisdom to the detriment of the others, and in Truth, no one religion can claim to be the lone true one...

One must step back to view the whole before one can understand the fraction....
There are a thousand religions in this world...who's to say which one is right or which one is wrong....?
The only thing we have together/collectively is our sense of humanity.....Entertaining a balance between wrong and right is the only way we can truly have any righteous thought.

For if one proclaims to be always right..one makes him/herself a God, which is wrong....

To be occasionally wrong while searching for truth only makes one human....and that my friends...is all we could ever aspire to be...HUMAN!
