Just for Christians

Now that im saved why dont I feel something? Is there a feeling to know im saved ?, Should i be proud cause im going to heaven,? should I feel joy? Do I have an angel? I dont see one ,Now God is within me as the holy spirit God is my invisable friend or is it the thought that I can forgive myself and deal with life with out guilt and worry .Or is it that I have the presence of mind to know right from wrong. if I want Joy I can manifest it while knowing that it is my will in making the joy.Should I know that a angle is watching over me and say good morning to it as I pray and talk at (with) God.and yes I read my Bible most everyday. and I dont play stump the preacher.He dont come out and say it but he frowns on at the questioning of my faith.
My athiest friend has more time and money knows right from wrong, does not spend time on what he call useless emotions as guilt and worry and if God has Angels watghing over her thats ok too .She does not hate religeon as she says most people need it to keep them in line. my faith is not blind and the truth is not pretty. I know its a lot to ask but if you could reply to a point or to it would be great thanks. :cheers:

Sorry, im not trying to be smug or a smartass, its hard for me to put my thoughts into words.

If you were to take all the major religions of the world....boil them down to thier essence....they all say the same basic thing......
Good and evil are perceptions......
If there was no evil...how would we know of any good??

Questions like this is why I'm more spiritual rather than religious.....I do belive in a "higher power" of sorts...but for me its more of an "energy" than an actual god

One of the biggest problems I have with Christianity is this.....The bible says the only way to get to heaven is to worship God through Jesus Christ.....Well...O.K. fine...However only about 3% of the worlds population belives this....so does that mean that 97% of the people on this Earth are doomed to burn in hell cause they do not worship Jesus??

Me thinks not....

Do research on other religions...you'll be amazed at what you find within all thier similarities!

Jesus goes by many many names.
Its a nice thought that when I die I will be released of this pain infused crippled body.
to recieve a new wonderful body and my tears shall be wiped away.
I know the arguments for and against
the truth is not pretty, downrite depressing.But you know,like that makes it better.
so I believe to live in kindness and love with my brothers and sisters.Right now im working on the golden rule and those ten commendments.
can man be sure of God?
yes, because you did not make earth
what about angels?
ive only seen pictures.
and the devil?
havent seen him either.
Evil as such, men make it.

We are forgiven, not perfect. There isn't a switch that goes on when you are saved or anything. However, when you are saved, you feel unworthy of God (because sin is within you and you know how distorted you are) and want to better yourself. You should feel a sense of relief when you are forgiven. Also, when you know you are doing everything you can to better yourself, you feel a sense of peace within yourself and you can feel it when you think of God as well. This is only my opinion from my own journey with God. I hope you understand the meaning of these words. God bless!

Why does such a all know it all, loving tender, jealous god need people to worship him? Will he fade to nothing if we dont come to him in a servile manner? Why does he need his son to be tortured to death so that he can finally manage some compassion towards humans? I dont get along with my human dad on ecstatic terms but he wouldnt expect me to do some of the stuff god wants.
