Of course evolution is a concept that works. Evolution is not impossible, by no means...

Why is there always a call for an intelligent designer?

Is it one designer?

Or a couple like engeneers today working in a team?

research the bacteria flagellum. it is pretty clear evolution is not 100%, it may still be possible, but for the most part it can not explain how the Bactria have developed the most efficient motor in the universe.

Also what made the first protein, if DNA had to evolve?!
How can you have a protein without the DNA code to construct it!

yea and the only reason that they havent found a missing link is because we were messed with by something or shall i say someone, so instead there is a leap and hence a missing link

Just a basic understanding of cells!

To have a cell you have to have 2 strands of dna from a parent cell.

Thus there was not a single cell, because to even create the first single cell you would have to have 2 strands of dna from a previous form of life that combines to replicate a new cell, thus there had to be life already to take dna from to create the first single cell as its called making the single cell not the first form of life....
