Large, Strange Sea Creature Found In Persian Gulf

A very large, very strange looking sea creature was found by the Iranian Navy in the Persian Gulf and has people speculating as to what it is, ranging from “dinosaur like,” to a mutilated whale carcass.

Look at the video and photos below and take a stab at guessing what it is.

It looks like an alligator, but are they indigenous to the Persian Gulf?

im certain this is a salt water croc from one of the Daintree wild life cruises in far north Australia

a male "salty" will grow generally between 5-6 meters long, although bigger crocs hav been reported.
I think SAVS sea monster is perhaps slightly longer than that, so unless there are larger crocs in that area, I would rule out a croc, but the tail on that sea monster certainly looks crocISH. RRR

Tough old fellow in this photo is missing an arm.

Would have to agree, the tail gives it away.

It could be the current took the floating carcass there, but an animal that size can go where it wants.
If a salt water crocodile is able to cross oceans by riding the currents, it could go anywhere.
