Latest World-Wide Seismic Events

G'day all DTV'ers, a couple of months ago there was a forum regarding recent world-wide simultaneous seismic events. I tried to find the forum, but to no avail, but if anyone does know where, feel free to add this to it.
After looking at the recent seismographs daily, (I have been saving each time), but today's graphs indicate again that something is going on underfoot. Rather than posting the long graphs as it is a couple of pages, here is the link : http://earthquake.usgs.gov/monitoring/o ... ts_gsn.php , and as this is updated frequently, there is a few hours until the latest activity is archived.

Have a look between 2000hrs and 2200hrs graph time/dated : Wed 06/06/12 04:48 MDT (Wed 06/06/12 10:48 UTC) .

Something is making this happen, it would be great to be able to find out the cause.....

Thanks guys, I'm not sure what to make of it all, it seems to occur within a 2hr window. Not sure what could resonate within the earth to be picked up for the length of time, as most "normal quakes" picked up are very different with "spikes when activity is recorded. I have tried to correlate these with other catalysts, but am drawing a bit of a blank. .....

I have emailed the USGS for a response as to what may cause this type of occurrence, if I get a reply, I will post it here.

Strongest earthquake ever recorded west of Ireland stuns geologists
June 7, 2012 – IRELAND – A leading seismologist has said yesterday’s earthquake off the west coast was “unexpected” and poses “very interesting questions for geologists.” The earthquake, which registered a magnitude 4.0 on the Richter scale, was recorded as 60 km west of Belmullet, Co Mayo, at a depth of 3 km, at 8.58 am. It was the largest local seismic event ever recorded, according to Tom Blake of the Irish National Seismic Network (INSN) and the Dublin Institute of Advanced Studies. It was also the second-largest local earthquake on record in either Britain or Ireland, he said – the first being of 5.4 magnitude on July 19th, 1984, off the west coast of Wales and felt in Waterford and Wicklow. A 2.7 magnitude tremor was recorded in Lisdoonvarna, Co Clare, in May 2010. The Irish Coast Guard recorded instances of structural damage to houses in Erris, Co Mayo, yesterday and the British Geological Survey said the impact was felt in Galway, Mayo and Sligo. The Geological Survey of Ireland said earthquakes of this magnitude at this depth were “not very unusual although not common.” However, Mr Blake said that while the earthquake was classified as “moderate”, it was “significant” in that it challenged existing information about seismic activity off the west coast. The location, just 23km south to southeast of the Corrib gas wells, prompted a call by Sinn Féin councillor for Mayo Rose Conway-Walsh for reassurance that this was not connected to seismic testing Shell EP Ireland was due to initiate on the Corrib gas field last Friday. Hi all DTVers, just looking again at the latest Live Seismic Server Graphs, and yet again today we are seeing worldwide simultaneous seismic activity, with registers going off for over an hour in 99% of the monitors. There is something definitely going on here, and these are getting more frequent.

Here is the live link, but I have created a pdf in case anyone would like me to email it to them as the live link is updated constantly, so this data seen here for today will only be available for about another 8hrs or so.

I have again emailed the USGS on a few occasions and again today for a response as to the possible causes. HAARP does has some information as to their testing on their website, and now I am in the middle of making my own maps of the events.

It's very intriguing that's for sure, and makes me worried as to a more sinister cause!
