WITH SOLUTIONS
His reason is that “Government does not work for regular people. It appears to work quite well for big corporations, banks, insurance companies, military contractors, lobbyists, and for the rich and powerful. But it does not work for people.” Quigley quotes as an example “There are now 35 registered lobbyists in Washington DC for every single member of the Senate and House of Representatives, at last count 13,539 in 2009. There are eight lobbyists for every member of Congress working on the health care fiasco alone. At the same time, the U. S. Supreme Court decided that corporations now have a constitutional right to interfere with elections by pouring money in ...”

Interesting article, thanks
this is another extract from it,
doesn't really sound the way forward does it.
The US is not only involved in senseless wars in Iraq, Afghanistan and Pakistan, the U.S. now maintains 700 military bases world-wide and another 6000 in the US and our territories. Young men and women join the military to protect the U.S. and to get college tuition and healthcare coverage and killed and maimed in elective wars and being the world’s police. Wonder whose assets they are protecting and serving?
In fact, the U.S. spends $700 billion directly on military per year, half the military spending of the entire world – much more than Europe, China, Russia, Iran, Pakistan, North Korea, and Venezuela - combined.
(oh yes, it's mostly called "peacekeeping" now, "war" is a bit outdated)

i don't know if elections will work, although i got duped into believing obama was legit before he was elected so that could just be my cynicism talking, i don't know....
there are so many problems just in the western world and the interests perpetuating those problems are incredibly vast. it's going to take nothing short of magic to bring about change that doesn't start with complete collapse.

There is a reason why they try to keep us split as close to 50/50 in America as they can and yes it has to do with the vote and no it is not good for your rights.

Revolt as in voting a bunch of Republicans in who will take us back to 02-06, which then will lead to voting in Democrats again? Sure why not? Keep the perpetual machine going. Nothing will ever truly change.

it seems funny that this law professor is screaming for revolution, when it's the ideology of these so called 'scholars' that have put us in this position.
it's not hard to figure out.they want 'us' to revolt.
do you think he'll be out in the streets with a bandanna over his face?i doubt it.
obama and his 'scholars' have worked fast and hard to bring everything to this point.
the minute we rise-up,that will finally give them the reason to BRING THE FUCKING HAMMER DOWN!
these fuckin communists know that the old system must be destroyed to enact their new(old)system.and guess what?if you go and listen to fuckheads like this, you are doing that job for them.
thanx jonesy,good stuff
that's better than the socialist state that obama has already put in place here in the u.s.
EVERYTHING has CHANGED under obama.we better hope we still have a chance to change it back.
