Leader in Montreal Jewish community pleads guilty to child porn charges

Former director of the Montreal Holocaust Memorial Centre turned himself in to police a year ago.

The former Quebec director of B'nai Brith has pleaded guilty to child pornography charges.

Bill Surkis pleaded guilty to one count of accessing and one count of possessing child pornography when he appeared in a Montreal courtroom today.

The former director of the Montreal Holocaust Memorial Centre turned himself in to police a year ago after a warrant was issued for his arrest.

Defence lawyer Steven Slimovitch said at the time that police phoned Mr. Surkis after he brought his computer to a store to have it scanned for viruses.

A shop employee allegedly discovered 23 videos on the hard drive and alerted police.

The 70-year-old Surkis will be back in court in September for a pre-sentencing hearing.

And since you brought it up… Is Muhammad “leader” enough for you? Because if he is,I made my case. There’s no argue that Muhammad was a pedophile. After all – when he was over 50 years old, he married a 6 years old girl and raped her when she was 9. I’m sure you would agree that raping children is even worse than possessing porn. And Muhammad wasn’t just some memorial centre director with no affect on the community, he was the man that invented Islam and that all Muslims believe to be holy and with to be like him.
