Firstly.. you cannot expect to go in to a place like that with an attitude no matter what you think your rights as a human being are.. people like that have all the time and power in the world to make your life as miserable as they can.. I got my permanent residence status in Canada about a onth ago and had to land at St Stephen/bordering Maine.. My wife and I had a similar experience there.. Guy asked me why i had a pair of scissors in the car and I told him it was to cut things.. which logically they were.. I had to then go on and explain that it was in case we bought clothes etc and could cut tags and plastic crap off of them.. He wasn't amused..

And when we got there it was deserted.... so they clearly had time on their hands on a hot sunny day..

The Canadian side on the other hand was totally different.. 3 guys gathered around to welcome me in..

I get shit from the Wackenhut private security guards we have posted at our gates here on Bragg all the time. They are huge fans of 'random' inspections, so I never leave post without my 2 year old son unless I absolutely have to. When I bring him along, all I got do is hand them my ID and turn to my son an tickle him or say something to make him laugh which distracts them every time and don't give me shit.

I can tell ya'll this, after the life I've lived, from prison to prison, and stop to stop, "Yes sir, no sir," and that is how you beat them. I have a long criminal record, and now as a 'normal' citizen I get less shit from "THEM" then ever before because I just play their game. I'm not saying to roll over if there is an actual principle that you are defending, but if it is a random stop or a border, just be polite. Kill them with kindness. They don't even fathom that they are working for the enemy. Not yet anyway. They have been just as brainwashed as those in the SS of old. They are performing a duty and they hold it in high regard. There will come a time in the future when rebellion against this tyranny is necessary, but even then your duties are to your soul and not the outward appearance of anti-conformism.

And if you are just going to the mall, shut your mouth and get on with your day!

The guy was acting like an idiot, but those police officers are mad with power, I'm pretty sure that isn't assault in any sense of the word, and I didn't hear him threaten anyone? "What are you gonna do?" is not a threat. I don't think I am going to speak in the presence of a police officer ever again unless it's being recorded. :peep:

Fuck. I'd tell that cop I'm going to Disney land to pick up my disabeled brother and for him to draw me a map so the terrorists and drug dealers don't get me. Then I'd ask for a map to his wife's house for dinner cause she knows how much more fun that'd than being searched and interrogated everynight before sex.
