focussing on things far away, for instances, travelling and trecking through mountainous regions.
for those like myself who can't just go charging off to the mountains though, these eye exercises are gold.

I walked to school 5miles uphill in the snow barefoot i'm anything but special the short Carriages would gallop past me laughing at me throwing snowballs at me
My YouTube Channel :
I also use pinhole glasses that help and I just started something called sungazing. I'll let you know how that pans out. And no, the sun does not hurt my eyes. It's done near dusk or dawn when the UV index is lowest. I'm finding it seems to be making some changes in me but I'll wait and see for sure.
I don't wear my glasses anymore. My vision isn't perfect but it's improving.
i made my own pinhole glasses too and they seem to have a slight effect.
i dont think anything with a monitor helps. It makes you look near so your eyes stop being good at looking far.
The 85hz of the monitor really strain the eyes too and make them dry.
try a 120hz monitor and take breaks from it regularly, focusing outside the window.
almost done with the first chapter of my book, looking to finish it sunday
