They actually managed to get the thing to work, and hey, we're still here.

Today the world has changed, not ended.
Anyone who really believed the world would end, well I think you know what I am going to say. Chances are 2012 won't happen either because people are way too paranoid about things. I think it say's it all.
It's all about physic's. It's all about finding out who we really are, what we are really made of. I just hope they publish the results, but If not, there are people out there who already know what they found.
I hope the people who thought that the world would end learn't their lesson. I can see some of you really want it to end. I have new's for you. Even if it does end, you won't die, you'll just live another life, or just basically re-live your life again until you learn from your mistakes.
Remember we are here to live, and learn from our mistakes.
Start learning about who you really are, that is the real adventure that's what all of us should be doing. We only know 1% of what we can really do.

Not that I believe the BS about the end of the world because of the LHC, but they're not there yet. When they eventually restart again they want to increase till 7 TeV (3,5 TeV per beam). After reconfiguration even 14 TeV.
Lets talk again when that time is near!
But for science this is a giant leap indeed.

Sorry to have to point this out, but nuclear warheads are just physics, also. I'm not insinuating that I believe the LHC experiments are going to lead to a black hole or other devastating effects that some theorists and doomsdayers talk about, but I do think we are headed in the wrong direction. If these insipid scientist would get as curious about our Pineal gland and our brains as they are about slamming particles together to help make some fat cats even more rich and powerful while putting the world at risk (even if that risk is minimum), we would get to know our true nature and maybe pull ourselves out of this purgatory we are stuck in.
Just a thought I had after viewing these dorks getting excited about punching holes in the natural fold of reality.

Excellent thoughts and statement.

European Organization for Nuclear Research (CERN) scientists cheers after the first ultra high-energy collisions at the CMS experiment control room on March 30, 2010 near Geneva. Scientists at the world's biggest atom smasher at CERN said that they had collided protons at record power, mimicking conditions close to the Big Bang that created the universe.
