Perhaps it would be better for you to define what you mean by redistribution, rydher, because I don't believe in the concept in any but the broadest terms.

Progressive tax systems take more tax as income rises.If you've paid more for the upkeep of that public road than other people who use it, hasn't the government effectively redistributed a bit of your wealth for the benefit of society as a whole?

Again, where is the actual improvement to the situation of the students receiving unfairly inflated scores?

I can see few, if any.

If we look at the worst stereotype of a welfare Queen (whom I don't concede exist in any significant numbers), at least she and her family get a life for that money, and when she spends it, that stimulates the economy.

TL;DR Redistributing wealth buys measurable results (even if you don't think it's money well spent), redistributing GPA points buys ?????
