While I am not so sure about the validity of the experiment and its findings, I do find it rather interesting that many of the folks shooting it down seem to be doing so in a very emotional manner. You can see that rather clearly with their choice of words so perhaps there is something to the findings after all.
What I wouldnt agree with is that the amygdala that is about our emotions is a negative thing. What are these people trying to say? That mankind is supposed to evolve into a very unemotional being? I am sorry but emotions are not primitive they are proper and liberals show plenty of emotion in their lives.
So conservatives, stop being so emotionally butthurt over this and just pick it apart logically and then you disarm them completely.

Edit: In fact I will go even farther, both brainsets have the amygdala so both sets show emotion but perhaps a larger amygdala allows for better control of emotion? To say that liberals generally show better control of emotion then conservatives would be false in my opinion. Some may and some conservatives may not be as controlled, of course there will be personal variances and any truly scientific batch test would have to be a large number of persons tested. Since this experiment was politicized, people will see it as they are politically trained to do. Seemingly on both sides.
