not "believing," though really it would be better explained as understanding, that there is life after death means only that you are inexperience or uneducated. and as gaining experience in life after death is generally a difficult thing, I would suggest correcting the latter.

fading away in a drugged state on the operating table is a really bad way to go, and you're not going to get the normal program that way; though we're glad you made it back.

Why silly? When I have witnessed death, people close to the departed - note the term departed, say 'S/he's gone.' The dead body is there, but anyone will tell you the person has gone, so there's the body, which is dead, but the person departed at the very moment that the body became dead. Some call the person 'the soul.' For the soul, the person, there is no life or death at any time. He doesn't come into being, but is actually unborn and isn't slain in any way. But this is most clear when you see a body and feel the separation of the person from that body.
