It does sound like a classic example of an oxymoron.
Based on the assumption that I am actually alive in the real world.
This may not be the case, I could be having a "living experience" like a dream.
And when I die I actually wake up and experience the real reality.
Having and remembering lucid dreams reinforces this belief.

Well...according to some this world isnt real and neither are we.....

The matter that composes our bodies is here..isnt it? or is it just our consciense in an alternate "reality" or living experience like u said? this reminded me of the matrix lol

@mochon Have you heard of schrodinger's cat ?
Quantum physicists have discovered the problem with observation.
That is before we fire up a particle accelerator, a particle is subject to quantum properties.
It has an infinite number of potentialities, it's anywhere and everywhere at any time all the time.
Until we observe it, and thus bring into being.
It is our consciousness that makes it "real".

@pavmas Indeed at some point all will be known to everyone.
I don't believe in the patriarchal pseudo god either, he's a sadistic egotistical halfwit.
There's the creator, there's the true creator, then there's that which created those.

Yeah man i heard of it before...so that got me thinking..who is observing us...besides ourselves if that could be the case....?

The whole chicken and the egg problem.
To observe our self, our consciousness must reside outside of the physical.
When we dream we are subconsciously visiting that place where our consciousness resides.
If you remember the dream when you wake, it may seem like a conscious experience.
Sometimes you may become conscious of the experience while you are having it.
I myself can remember several lucid dreams I have had, I usually start to fly when I know I'm dreaming.
This place of my choosing, is where I believe I will go when my consciousness is no longer trapped by a physical body.
