First off, yes it's real, second that's Paramount Pictures Official Twitter account, and third, I'd like to shake the hand of the marketing genius who glanced over that and gave it the go ahead.
Paramount Pictures were quick to remove the offending tweet due to a surge of outrage, and have been forced into making an official apology.
”We are deeply sorry to have used that artwork for the marketing materials promoting the September 11 opening in Australia. Combining that image and date was a mistake. We intended no offense and have taken immediate action to discontinue its use."
Somebody's in trouble, turtle power!

Also, can I just respectfully request that Hollywood stop taking the things that were magical about my childhood and shitting all over them…I mean, "rebooting" them? Pretty please?
I was never a turtles fan.. and Im surprised these guys and the transformers are still around.. never watched them, too corny and dumb (and thats saying alot about 80s cartoons) and could never figure the appeal to them in the first place. In fact back in 1987 when the turtles started, the "only" thing on I watched and that I did on saturday mornings was to smoke a bowl of foot loops turn on CBS and laughed my ass off at Pee Wee Herman..
Cartoons back then started to suck bad... yeah thanks to little nancy reagans wholesome family televison bullcrap.. TOO MUCH VIOLENCE...
