Love Letter For You

i like to compare Buddha's last words with the last words of Christ. You see most all other religions tell you to do good works, be a great person....to strive so hopefully you will make it.
We cannot fix ourselves. Total depravity. How can you compare your good deeds or works to perfection? You can't so stop trying. God says, in Isaiah, he views our good deeds as a menstrual cloth (this is what it translates to). Our good deeds are only an expression of our selfishness.
When Christ died, his last words were 'it is finished' (tetelestai).
