I'm a lurker since 2008...and now joined. I have worked for a major pharmaceutical company, NASA, and was part of a start up company in the nanotech/biotech industry the last few years. Now, I am out of work and currently enjoying my family and friends these last couple of months. Most of what is discussed in the forums including videos is fun, but not real. Some of the info is spot on...particularly some of the tech and archaeology data, and some very wise views/quotes from some of the members, which I enjoy . Anyways. Just thought I'd join and maybe write a little.

The Hawks will bring back the Stanley cup to Chicago in 2013...if there is still a functioning civilization to allow this to happen of course.

Unfortunately it looks to be a lockout this year. Good thing tho, the Leafs will finally finish in 1st place :shock:

Domdabears,Thanks for the encouragement and the invite.I've been away doing other things in my personal search for the truth but I am very gratified that I can still come here when I feel the need to have a few more open-minded points-of-view about things I wonder about.I very much enjoy the diversity that exists here.I won't be able to visit much, but,at least I'll know I can!
