For those who think poor mep is being picked on........there is a reason so many have a problem with him. There really should be no way anyone outside of a new member could not know about all this.

Never said Mep was getting picked on. In what I have read on the threads, he has more than earned his retribution. Just mentioning, I am no expert by any means, but to me they could be domes. Might be holes? I don't know. But I think the original post asked for our opinions.

Interesting pics. The appear to be protruding upwards from where I'm looking. They could be weak points in Mars' crust where gas has emitted over a long period of time.

I think the biggest clue to them not being artificial domes is the fact they are obviously made up of the same material as everything else in the picture suggesting they are a natural formation. Nasa would not go through the trouble of making them seem like rock when they could have just airbrushed them out of the picture.

Plus they show all the signs of being ancient blisters from ground water swell or the last of the molten core trying to seep out.

And mep before you think I am just trying to prove you wrong.........I do believe there are probably ancient artificial structures on mars...........these are just not them.
