Azaziel, Samyaza

it is claimed by some that Buzz Aldrin and Neil Armstrong performed a "communion" ceremony "33" minutes after landing on the Moon and that Buzz carried a Masonic flag with him to the moon, and that he brought it back to Earth and presented it to the "Sovereign Grand Commander" Smith who was the Supreme Commander of the Supreme Council of the World. The flag Is hung in the Library Museum in the Scottish Rite Temple in Washington, DC located at 1733 Sixteenth Street, NW, Washington, DC.

In Aldrin’s autobiography, Return to Earth, the only mention of Masonry is when he says that he temporarily lost his grandfather’s Masonic ring that he wanted to take to the Moon while suiting up for the mission. He says nothing about that banner, nor of the “SPECIAL DEPUTATION” he undertook for the Texas Grand Lodge on the Moon.

so here´s my question:

WHY?

:D
I see you Marduk, robbing Freeman of Texas' claims.
Tbh, it's one I think is very possible myself.
I'm not 100% convinced but it does account for the "moon hoax" theory well.

The moon within masonry has an important place - Genesis 1:14-19 on the forth day of creation God created two great lights, one to rule by day,the other to rule by night, the is a specific mention of these lights within masonic ritual.

In the middle ages, Alchemists used the symbol of the moon to relate to the metal silver and in their writings they used this symbol to depict the metal. Alchemists also used drawings of the moon and sun with human faces - these images are associated with some Masonic tracing boards.

In most masonic ritual - the Moon is referred to as one of the three lesser or movable lights and is identified by biblical literature as the ruler of the night and as a reference for the masonic regularity for the conduct of the Worshipful master of the lodge.

The moon is always identified with the Senior Warden in the West, therefore following the Egyptian tradition associating the moon with this direction. The moon also represents the Doric column of strength.
