Not a spy boat, a signals intelligence ship. Were not talking about a trawler trying to pretend it was a fishing boat loaded with intelligence gear, were talking about a us navy intelligence ship in international waters. It is not me who is misunderstanding this situation.

The ship wasn't there secretly, it was monitoring all radio traffic/navy traffic in the area, it made itself clear as an American ship, the 1st Israeli aircraft that came across it identified it as a US ship, then came back to attack it in international waters... while it was on a passive intelligence gathering mission...

Just another example of Israeli crimes, and their disregard for international law... not that the US can talk...

The boat had a large Flag identifying it as a US vessel, it wasn't there secretly and made it's presence known, as it was conducting a perfectly legal passive intelligence gathering exercise.

I want you to say what you know, not just half-arsedly contradict what others know, the flag was there, it wasn't an unmarked vessel.

Also, in addition to the flag, the ship was easily identifiable by eye, even from a jet, it's possible to identify an unarmed vessel, sailing without escorts in international waters, it was a leftover from WW2, a trained pilot knows the kind of ships they should be targeting, Egypt never commissioned this particular type of ship.



The flag itself was badly damaged, which indicates it was flying during the attack.



And finally, here is what the ship looked like from the air, not only does it not look like a warship, it is clearly identifiable as a US flagged ship.
