We Aussies also use Ractopamine in our pork, I only found out thanks to watching R.T. at the dismay of some.

I've heard about this for some time now. It's quite disgusting and dangerous. I rarely go out to eat, but when I do, I do research into where they buy their meat. Being in the business, I can tell by their food supplier where they get the product. Unless it's AAA, I won't eat there. If high grade beef is not on the menu, I can only imagine what other shortcuts they've made

If the media in Australia came out with a list of chemicals used in the food industry here all at one time. We would have another eureka stockade this time right across the country. Australia still permits for use chemicals used in primary production which are banned in just about every country. I am not including those referenced to in this topic. Without even taking into consideration any GMO products. China's food standards are quickly becoming better than ours.

Flipper, did you see how much fracking they want to do in our country?

They intend to ship out a giganto boat load everyday out of QLD. How much is that worth and how much do we see of it
and how much sub surface rock do they have to fracture to achieve such monumental amounts of gas removal everyday.

I reckon we are going to see a rise in earthquakes here in Australia in the next few years like in america
around fracking sites.

I go to a small town called Tara where they are doing fracking. Entire families are getting sick everyday from the gas and other chemicals that leach out of the ground. The water coming out of bores is poison. The government is doing there best to blame it on anything else possible. I could say more but I am already on a list.
