Check this out:

The Baha'i Faith is an independent world religion with over 6 million adherents in over 150 countries. The Faith was founded in 1844 by Siyyid Muhammad Ali Shirazi; known as "The Bab". He was the Imam Mahdi ("Guided One") of Shi'ite Islam, and is considered to be the "John the Baptist" of Baha'u'llah (Bah-HAH-oo-LAH); the Manifestation of God for our Age.

Baha'is ("bah-highz") believe that BAHA'U'LLAH is the Manifestation of God for our time. They believe He is:

*The Messiah ben David (the Reigning Messiah) expected by the Jews.

*The Return of Christ in the Glory of the Father, or " The Spirit of Truth", expected by Christians.

*The Kalki Avatar expected by Hindus.

*The Maitreya Buddha exptected by Buddhists.

*The Shah Bahram expected by Zoroastrians.

*The New World Teacher expected by New Agers.

*The Return of the Prophet Isa expected by Muslims.

The mission of Baha'u'llah is to save Humanity from the Final Doom. What is the "Final Doom"? It is the total destruction of Humanity as a living species. The mission of Jesus was to offer His blood as an atonement for the sins and iniquities of all mankind. His mission was to "save our souls". The mission of Baha'u'llah, on the other hand, is to "save the whole" of Humanity from the Final Doom.

Humanity is on the road to complete and final extinction. God has provided a Way of Salvation for the human race; should we accept it. It is called the "World Order of Baha'u'llah"; otherwise known as "the New Jerusalem". If Humanity establishes the New Jerusalem upon this earth then the Final Doom can be avoided. If Humanity rejects the Message of Baha'u'llah, then the Final Doom will come, and Humanity will end.

The choice is ours.

Baha'is believe that the Baha'i Faith is the "Millennial Kingdom of Christ" on earth. Baha'is believe that Jesus is the Suffering Messiah; the "Messiah ben Joseph" and that Baha'u'llah is the reigning Messiah: the "Messiah ben David". Baha'u'llah was a descendant of King David of Israel and King Cyrus of Peria. He was of royal Davidic and Persian blood. Baha'is believe that the "World Order of Baha'u'llah" is the Kingdom of the Father on earth, and fulfills Jesus' prayer, "Our Father in Heaven, holy be Thy Name, Thy Kingdom come, Thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven."

The Baha'i Faith seeks to establish the Father's Kingdom on earth as it is in Heaven.

Baha'is accept Jesus as the "Son of God", but not the only Son of God. Adam also is called "the Son of God" (Luke 3:38). Baha'is believe that all the Manifestations of God are the "Sons of God". Jesus was the "unique" Son of God in that He was born of a virgin and had no human father. Baha'is accept Jesus as "the Very Savior of Man".

What do Baha'is believe about the End-Times? Actually, there are various interpretations. Below is one of them. Below you will find one Baha'i interpretation of the Anti-Christ, the False Prophet, "666", Armageddon, the Mark of the Beast, the city of New Jerusalem, the War in Heaven, etc. Please read it. You'll find it very interesting.

great, another religion to be creeped out by. I just wish that mankind as a whole would come to it's senses and realize that it's all just mythology. Things would be so much better.

Maybe you read Ba`ullah`s main work "The Book of Certitude".

It is a theological book, full of muslim logics.

What I can say is the loving kindness I saw among Bahai believers. And since they are persecuted in Islam countries, many of them have suffered a hard life.

Of power hungry attitudes I know nothing, even not of political affectations.

I'm shocked that this escaped my research. I don't believe that Baha'i is the final antichrist ideology/government, but it is most definitely a close precursor. I am surpised that more on this site in particular do not profess this faith!!! It seems almost tailored to this generation! The only caveat is that it boldly declared a NWO agenda. If it were more subtle, more would fall in line. This ideology IS what the world is after, the people just can't accept it's basic premise because of the propaganda against a NWO. Which leaves a thinking person to realize that both of these ideologies will in some way be synchronized by the final deception.

I know a couple of Bahais, one of my really good friends is one. They're great people imo (as any one could be from any religion.) I briefly asked them what it was about, and they said they view all religions as more a less a period of time that happened, legitimately from each culture. Which doctrines they choose to follow, or what their religion is centered around is all voted on by a committee(which more or less is always in discussion about things.) so that they can find the best way for it to accept to all people of the religion, and the ones who are interested in becoming a part of it.

Not a clue what they do behind the scenes though, or any clue on the lifestyle implied of being a Bahai.

interesting thread none the less.

Future world order and world parliament discussed at Bahá’í conference
Thursday, November 12th, 2009 - by Terry Melanson

This year’s conference of the Francophone European Association for Bahá’í Studies (Association francophone européenne des études bahá’íes, AFEEB) on 24 and 25 October 2009 in Luxembourg discussed the future world order and global governance.

The programme included a presentation of the concept of a United Nations Parliamentary Assembly (UNPA) by the Chairman of the Committee for a Democratic U.N., Andreas Bummel. Outlining the path towards a directly elected world parliament, Mr Bummel stressed the “spiritual dimension” of the efforts. “The establishment of a UN Parliamentary Assembly would represent a changed consciousness. For the first time in human history such a body would establish a direct political connection between every human being and the planet,” Mr Bummel said.

Daniel Schaubacher, European Bahá’í Business Forum, and Jean-Francis Billion, Council Member of the World Federalist Movement, further elaborated on the representation of the peoples in the United Nations and the efforts towards world democracy. Among other things Mr Billion stressed the success of the international coalition of non-governmental organizations which advocated the establishment of the International Criminal Court. Mr Billion noted that the World Federalist Movement spearheaded this effort and that the International Bahá’í Community was part of the coalition. In the discussion it was agreed that the Coalition for the International Criminal Court is a good example to draw upon in the efforts for a UNPA.

Further speakers at the conference included, among others, Esther Zana-Nau, Programme Manager at the International Master Programme in Social Policy Analyis IMPALLA who gave an introduction into globalization and global governance.

For Bahá’ís, the term “new world order” has a special and clear-cut meaning. More than one hundred years ago, Bahá’u'lláh, the founder of the Bahá’í Faith, invoked the phrase to categorize a future series of momentous changes in the political, social and religious life of the world. According to Bahá’u'lláh, these changes include the setting up of a world government, an elected world parliament, a binding world tribunal, and a world police force.
