I think first the FDA said no mercury was released,now they realise,OK,it does but it's not high enough to cause any harm to you?..Ok but who gauges what is a safe limit on the most toxic substance in the world?How do they know what is a safe limit??..they'd be better just eliminating mercury from dentistry i think.Go mercury free people if you need to get a filling,best option is gold unfortunately.

I use to be really worried about this, so I started doing some research, looking up all the symptoms it causes. Basically what I found was that any possible symptom to anything people associate with fillings. There is a list of about 1000 things that are supposedly caused by fillings. What this said to me was the the campaign to stop using these was attempting to cover a broad list of symptoms so that everyone would think their fillings are the cause of their problems. After I discovered this, I stopped worrying about it. Though I am open to any proof that it causes significant damage.
