what the hecks wrong with people here dont people know what A meteor is?
grab a pen and educate yourself. There are LOTS and LOTS of different metals potentially in a meteor. The metal that WERE aware of on this planet that burns green is ........
Copper!!!!! So this had alot of copper in it.
Or it was a burning satallite lol (what a nasa cover up!)
Not true! Boron, Barium, Manganese, Molybdinum and Tellurium burn with a green hue!

Several different things within a meteorite's composition can cause it to burn green. There is virtually less that 2% copper found in any given meteorite. It is VERY rare to find even a minute trace of copper in meteorites.
