Well I have been doing allot of reading on Asteroids lately and from what I am reading that we could have some close encounters in the next 3 months starting with one coming very close to us in the next few days.

And then with Jupiter getting hit with one yesterday.

Also from what I am reading the earth is traveling thru a part of space that is filled with some very small and some moon size Asteroids. Could we get hit? I would love to hear what everyone has to say about this!
