This week my Town in the heart of England had a By Election after the Conservative MP resigned.

Normally a Labour voting town it became Conservative in 2010's Elections.
People that normally voted Labour voted Lib Dems instead and the Conservatives sneaked in through the back door to win by 2000 votes.

Well this week Cameron got a wake up call and their brothers in crime the Lib Dems were kicked in the knackers.!

Labour won by 8000 votes and UKIP ( UK Independence Party ) got their best By Election result ever and shoved the Dems into 4th.

Politically people are waking up and UKIP are becoming more and more attractive to them. I voted UKIP.

Roll on 2014/15 for the full national elections....

Full results..

Name Party Votes Percetage Swing if stood before

Andy Sawford (Lab) 17,267 (48.41%, +9.71%)
Christine Emmett (Con) 9,476 (26.57%, -15.63%)

If i was ever going to vote at all ever i would probably vote Ukip.
It seems inconceivable to me that a nation of 300 million cannot replace 545 people who stand convicted -- by present facts -- of incompetence and irresponsibility.

If ever I was going to vote I....
Nah, that's silly, I ain't voting.

If there was a system where your vote made a difference, i.e. in that all the politicians didn't piss in the same pot, then maybe. It's a sham, to make the people think that they do have a choice, when in fact, they - the wankers ( most politicians ), are just puppets. Yet people go home from the ballots with a sense of worthwhile. Shame really.
