but that banging sounds like war (multiple hits/explosions).
there have to be at least several impact locations.

and i still dont buy that no one was knowing whats coming.
skyfall lyrics would fit 4 this year...

I was gonna say, why don't you just use the YT CC translator embedded in the video.

I did that and this is what I got.

"It was not clear a lot when you consider that there are."

"Point."

"Another."

"In him there next."

"Head coach."

"I fell."

"For that I am all that was required."

"Like it all."

"Frankly about the importance of the role."

"Lose."

So,....um......never mind.

well it was worth a shot Seahawk!

It was mentioned in this post or another that the russian military sent up anti aircraft missile to intercept.

I would think this would fit with the reports..........

but the reports about the US Military classifying these objects falling from space as state secrets is a little weird..... :headscratch:

would say the US has a space-based weapon, like the ones speculated in the tungsten rod space weapon articles and they are fearing the possible investigation into such weaponry from the speculation the russians have laid online.........

meteors are falling a bunch these days.....all over the globe

the tungsten rods are launched from a satellite, heat up on reentry and are exactly similar to a meteor falling to earth........

Did we spot meteor over Seattle.

:peep:

My guess is this one would be better off in the Chemtrailers posts............thats a jet passing over the horizon..........no doubt about it........

the object didnt flare up and explode at all....it maintained a course and an altitude matching a commercial plane.......

Cmon Kinny.......you really dont think thats a meteorite do you...?

i also think the russian metiorite looked not quite right somehow.

cant see how a near perfect circle in the ice could hav been made by the observed tradjectory, youd think the hole would be much more oval or illiptical in shape and very messy like a crash scene would look like,

i would expect 2 see chunks of ice debree all over the joint.

certainly seems unatural to hav all this metior activity.

i do believe in extra terrestrial life out there but dont think there is a connection to any of this at all.

wouldnt be supprised if it were some sort of false flag to trick the masses about something

even if a massive meteor event like that were to happen in Russia, wouldnt NASA Know it was about to happen and for all the star gazers that woulda been orgasmic.

Did NASA not even know?

Did anyone Know about a huge incoming meteor?

seems the aliens did and thats why there in charge of the skys, not the stupid corrupt fukwit governments and space programs.

if you think for 1 second were in good hands with our governments then go fuck yourself....

Aliens got this shit under control

:headscratch:

Military Hush-Up: Incoming Space Rocks Now Classified

Image

For 15 years, scientists have benefited from data gleaned by U.S. classified satellites of natural fireball events in Earth's atmosphere – but no longer.

A recent U.S. military policy decision now explicitly states that observations by hush-hush government spacecraft of incoming bolides and fireballs are classified secret and are not to be released, SPACE.com has learned. The satellites' main objectives include detecting nuclear bomb tests, and their characterizations of asteroids and lesser meteoroids as they crash through the atmosphere has been a byproduct data bonanza for scientists.

The upshot: Space rocks that explode in the atmosphere are now classified.

"It's baffling to us why this would suddenly change," said one scientist familiar with the work. "It's unfortunate because there was this great synergy…a very good cooperative arrangement. Systems were put into dual-use mode where a lot of science was getting done that couldn't be done any other way. It's a regrettable change in policy." Scientists say not only will research into the threat from space be hampered, but public understanding of sometimes dramatic sky explosions will be diminished, perhaps leading to hype and fear of the unknown.

Incoming!

Most "shooting stars" are caused by natural space debris no larger than peas. But routinely, rocks as big as basketballs and even small cars crash into the atmosphere. Most vaporize or explode on the way in, but some reach the surface or explode above the surface. Understandably, scientists want to know about these events so they can better predict the risk here on Earth. Yet because the world is two-thirds ocean, most incoming objects aren't visible to observers on the ground. Many other incoming space rocks go unnoticed because daylight drowns them out. Over the last decade or so, hundreds of these events have been spotted by the classified satellites. Priceless observational information derived from the spacecraft were made quickly available, giving researchers such insights as time, a location, height above the surface, as well as light-curves to help pin down the amount of energy churned out from the fireballs.

And in the shaky world we now live, it's nice to know that a sky-high detonation is natural versus a nuclear weapon blast. Where the space-based surveillance truly shines is over remote stretches of ocean – far away from the prospect of ground-based data collection. But all that ended within the last few months, leaving scientists blind-sided and miffed by the shift in policy. The hope is that the policy decision will be revisited and overturned.

Critical importance

"The fireball data from military or surveillance assets have been of critical importance for assessing the impact hazard," said David Morrison, a Near Earth Object (NEO) scientist at NASA's Ames Research Center. He noted that his views are his own, not as a NASA spokesperson. The size of the average largest atmospheric impact from small asteroids is a key piece of experimental data to anchor the low-energy end of the power-law distribution of impactors, from asteroids greater than 6 miles (10 kilometers) in diameter down to the meter scale, Morrison told SPACE.com. "These fireball data together with astronomical observations of larger near-Earth asteroids define the nature of the impact hazard and allow rational planning to deal with this issue," Morrison said. Morrison said that fireball data are today playing additional important roles. As example, the fireball data together with infrasound allowed scientists to verify the approximate size and energy of the unique Carancas impact in the Altiplano -- on the Peru-Bolivia border -- on Sept. 15, 2007. Fireball information also played an important part in the story of the small asteroid 2008 TC3, Morrison said. That was the first-ever case of the astronomical detection of a small asteroid before it hit last year. The fireball data were key for locating the impact point and the subsequent recovery of fragments from this impact.

Link in public understanding

Astronomers are closing in on a years-long effort to find most of the potentially devastating large asteroids in our neck of the cosmic woods, those that could cause widespread regional or global devastation. Now they plan to look for the smaller stuff. So it is ironic that the availability of these fireball data should be curtailed just at the time the NEO program is moving toward surveying the small impactors that are most likely to be picked up in the fireball monitoring program, Morrision said. "These data have been available to the scientific community for the past decade," he said. "It is unfortunate this information is shut off just when it is becoming more valuable to the community interested in characterizing near Earth asteroids and protecting our planet from asteroid impacts." The newly issued policy edict by the U.S. military of reporting fireball observations from satellites also caught the attention of Clark Chapman, a planetary scientist and asteroid impact expert at Southwest Research Institute in Boulder, Colorado.

"I think that this information is very important to make public," Chapman told SPACE.com. "More important than the scientific value, I think, is that these rare, bright fireballs provide a link in public understanding to the asteroid impact hazard posed by still larger and less frequent asteroids," Chapman explained. Those objects are witnessed by unsuspecting people in far-flung places, Chapman said, often generating incorrect and exaggerated reports. "The grounding achieved by associating these reports by untrained observers with the satellite measurements is very useful for calibrating the observer reports and closing the loop with folks who think they have seen something mysterious and extraordinary," Chapman said. --> via SPACE.com

And here comes another one...

Cuba, too, reports powerful meteorite explosion

16.02.2013

HAVANA (AP) — Cuba apparently experienced a phenomenon similar to but smaller than the meteorite that detonated over Russia this week, island media reported, with startled residents describing a bright light in the sky and a loud explosion that shook windows and walls. There were no reports of any injuries or damage such as those caused by the Russia meteorite, which sent out shockwaves that hurt some 1,200 people and shattered countless windows. In a video from a state TV newscast posted on the website CubaSi late Friday, unidentified residents of the central city of Rodas, near Cienfuegos, said the explosion was impressive. "On Tuesday we left home to fish around five in the afternoon, and around 8:00 we saw a light in the heavens and then a big ball of fire, bigger than the sun," one local man said in the video.

"My home shook completely," said a woman. "I had never heard such a strange thing." Marcos Rodriguez, whom the video identified as a specialist in anthropology, said all signs point to a meteorite. According to scientists, five to 10 smaller meteorites hit the planet each year. Larger events like the one over Russia are more rare, and some experts said it may have been the biggest such blast since another meteor hit Siberia in 1908. Also Friday, residents of the San Francisco Bay Area reported seeing a fireball in the sky that scientists said was likely a piece of space rock. Another meteor in the same area last October caused a loud sonic boom. In Cuba, a reporter on the video said a similar phenomenon was observed in 1994 elsewhere in Cienfuegos province. It said Cuban authorities were looking for any fragments that may have fallen to the earth.

Are all the recent meteor sightings and the US cover-up related to the "Wernher von Braun prophecies"?

“They’re inventing enemies he (Von Braun) said, against whom they are going to build this space-Wernher von Braun based weapon system—the first of whom was the Russians which was existing at that time. Then there would be terrorists, then there would be third world countries, now we call them rogue nations or nations of concern. Then there would be ASTEROIDS. And then he would repeat to me over and over ‘and the last card, the last, the last card would be the extraterrestrial threat’…you will find that there is going to be a spin to find some enemy against whom we have to build space based weapons and now we should expect the spin.”

There is something rotten in the state of Denmark.

:peep:

they fear panic and chaos ,no country is prepaired for mass dissorder ,so keep the public in the dark and fed on shit ,,its of great concern to the uk government what could hit us ,but to tell the public would be stupid on there part ,and when people do come foward with solid info its usualy met with the bs flag so you cant win ,and they watch sites like this with interest ,

1kg meteorite piece found in Russian Urals, biggest chunk yet discovered

Image

The fallen meteorite has turned into a cash cow in the Urals. Both experts and amateurs are aggressively searching the area for remnants, while entrepreneurs sell dozens of 'meteorite fragments' online, print t-shirts, guide tours and bake cookies.

The biggest officially-confirmed fragment of the meteorite was found on Monday by a local ski expedition.

"It weighs about a kilogram," Viktor Grokhovsky from the Urals University says, "We haven't precisely weighed it yet, since it needs to be conserved first so not to get acidified."

The number of fragments found by authorized meteorite specialists amounts to a few hundred by now. Online 'meteorite' sales, though, suggest there are hundreds more, only with no way of proving that any of them are real.

Grokhovsky believes bunches more are still to be found, including a possible biggest chunk that he says may lie at the bottom of Lake Chebarkul. It could be up to 60cm in diameter, he assures.

Image

Scientists and divers promise to scrutinize every centimeter of Lake Chebarkul. Teams are on the spot with all possible gear that could be helpful in the search.

If you cannot find a meteorite, you can buy one. Numerous online announcements offer meteorite fragments of smaller sizes on sale. Prices differ from a few bucks to a few thousand. The most expensive offer is placed at a Chinese online store at the price of 100,000 yuan (about US$16,000).

Meteorite sellers assure their fragments are a real deal. They say the extraterrestrial object will bring good luck and help treat depression. If you can’t afford a meteorite fragment, there are t-shirts with 'meteorite' imprints, and more related regalia likely to appear on sale soon.

The meteorite may bring luck - and money - not just to the physical owners of either fake or real things and their speculators, but also to some serious businesses. A local confectionery company has applied to license the brand names of 'Mystery Meteorite', 'Urals Meteorite' and 'Chebarkul Meteorite' planning to produce cookies and sweets.

Tourists can now get a guided tour to Lake Chebakul to see the layout of the historic meteorite fall first hand. Local authorities hope the now-famous lake will attract crowds of tourists into the region.

The local museum shares that hope. It has set up a display of photos and videos of the dramatic meteorite crash, which includes both rare and viral images.

The meteorite descended on Russia’s Urals Region early on February 15. The shock wave blew out hundreds of meters of window glass, injuring nearly 1,500 people. Nobody was killed in the incident, a fact considered a miracle by many, especially as scientists said the meteorite explosion in the atmosphere was 30 times stronger than the Hiroshima atomic bomb.
