The book: "Who Built the Moon" has a section about this phenomenon. For those who have not read this book, I strongly reccomend. It also talks about countless other phenomenon leading to an interesting conclusion by Russian scientists. :flop:

I delight in finding weird stuff on the moon so thought I would jump in and check this out.

Pindz thanks for the link. I have looked through many of those high res pics on the link you provided but haven't seen anything unusual yet :help:

Can ya indicate maybe one or two that I should look at for something exciting?

That could be the location of a moon base or generator plant. Why doesn't the moon rotate? Maybe the magnetic fiels of the Earth and Moon are locked in place!
Why haven't we named the moon or sun...all the other objects have names?
