Money can't be evil because money just represents the value of an object, therefore ...everything is evil. We used to trade for items, each person attaching their own value to an object and haggled over equal measure. Trade markers, or money, made this process quicker and efficient.
So the real problem is greed. Simple human greed. Those that obtain more than the others can feel better about themselves, feel more important. Everyone wants a little more than they have already but when you mix in a sociopathic mentality, a dash of narcissism, and a capitalistic system of finance, your going to run into problems.

Actually WelcomeChange, if a store or merchant, what have you, decides to accept trade of anything you have or services for their goods, they are legally allowed to do it. There are actually small towns in America who have created their own 'money' in the last few years and it is legal as long as merchants and those who proved services wish to accept it. The barter system is totally legal, but your local government must be on board. There are even stores in the US that have stopped taking US currency. Look it up brother. There are many stories and by-laws that kinda slip through the cracks are aren't that publicized. :cheers:
