Farmers in South Africa have reported an inexplicable failure to seed in three different varieties of corn genetically modified (GM) by the Monsanto Corporation. :yell:

Monsanto says they just made a mistake in the laboratory, however we say that biotechnology is a failure," Mayet said. "You cannot make a 'mistake' with three different varieties of corn. We have been warning against GM-technology for years, we have been warning Monsanto that there will be problems." :flop:

You want to know what companies like Monsanto and Smithfeild foods are doing to us, go to this site.

Never ever trust big conglomerates with food.

You see, this is one fight we the people can win,we just don't buy any food with GMO ingredients, and i tell you they are slowly, covertly sneaking them(Gmos') in to the food chain here in the UK.Watch out for products containing soya, you have to contact the manufacturers and say you do not want GMO anything... :flop:

Never a big fan of soya in the first place Jones, have a look what its production has done to the land in Paraguay.

Enviromentalists talk all the time about bio fuels, this is the end result, millions of more hectres of forest destroyed to make soya beans for bio fuels.

Sustainable production of energy, my arse.

Just re-reading that article "the us imports 61% of the crude oil it comsumes at a cost of 75 billion dollars a year".

Nostalgic isnt it, remember a couple of years ago when 75 billion dollars sounded like a lot of money.

Now we flipantly talk of $750 billion bailouts, $10 trillion debts.
