Dear members of this forum,

I have just signed up here for the sole purpose of releasing one single bit of information.
For so many years I have followed the conspiracy theories about how the moon landing was just an elaborate hoax and before it's too late, I have to come clean about a thing or two.
I have and had very close friends and relatives whose hard work and memories are sullied and disrespected just because the PR section of the Apollo Program was too short sighted.
They put Man on the moon when they said that they did.
Unfortunatley, back then PR was of the utmost importance and everything HAD to be and LOOK perfect. That is why a few photographs that were part of the press releases were prepared in advance.
That is why indeed there are photographs out there that were included in the press release materials where today's conspiracy theorists can find discrepencies after analyzing them minutely.
So basically, yes, some photographs are studio shots; but the Apollo 11 mission was real.
You all need to understand that this was necessary during that time's space race, in that specific kind of political and social atmosphere in the US.
The exact same thing happens in the present for China's space program.
I have very reliable insider sources that were telling me how them too pre-recorded all major events in advance to broadcast on TV while the actual mission was going on; just to make sure everything looked perfect.
If you have doubts, you can always check the footage of China's recent space walk: you can clearly see the bubbles of trapped air that get released every now and then, because the entire scene had been previously filmed in the training water pool. Was the footage "fake"? yes. But the space walk did happen nevertheless...

I don't think many people seriously think the moon landing was a hoax anymore. There's alot of information being kept secret about it but people did go there.

I do think people premote it as a hoax though because it leads to a dead end and invalidates alot of idea/facts and adds a layer of complexity that's not needed. In other words it's good disinformation.

Thanks for that, I would tend to agree and some others have said similar things. It seems like a pretty viable explanation for some of the inconsistencies, but I haven't researched it all that deeply, personally.

You're bound to get a lot of comments on this post, and some may be a little opinionated, ha ha.

Hope you hang around, though.

:hiho: and yeah that's what I've always thought, well knew because there is concrete evidence some of the pics etc...are fake but they did go to the Moon and there is evidence for that aswell, including the flag waving...

it would be nice if NASA and the Government as a whole would admit said thing but we all know they're a bunch of pussies who don't give a sh*t what people think or if they look crazy :D thanks for sharing. :flop:

most curious to me is that, after the incredible expense and effort spent on getting to the moon, and after only a few landings (if they happened), we never went back.
what's that all about? :alien:

What about the dude that rides a motorbike to check with a laser to see at what rate the moon is moving away from its orbit with the Earth? the mirror could have been put there by an unmanned probe or something I suppose but positioned precisely aswell...

I dunno lol
