I know that our dreams are most often concoctions of our imaginations made up from all the stuff we encounter in our daily lives. But, sometimes it could be a message. That being said, here’s my newest “crazy dream”.

I was driving into a small town up here in Northern Maine. It was night. As I drove, the lights ahead (houses, streetlights, etc) started to blink out coming toward me. When the darkness reached me, my engine shut off and I had to press on the brake really hard to get the truck to stop (no power = no brakes).

I got the feeling it was an EMP. I never saw anything in the sky, never felt or heard any explosions. Nothing. Just the lights going out, then my truck died.

Normally, I’m pretty self-aware in my dreams and don’t feel fear. But, for some reason, I woke up right away. Could have been I died.

It is important that you understand your dreams. Some come from the sub-conscious to help you with the healing process. Sometimes they come from the unconscious to warn you of what will happen if you do not heed its warning. Its very important that you learn the difference.

The LORD God pours his oil into the lamp of the soul. He helps to turn the light on. It is only man that turns the light off, and does not wish to look at the light.

Plato understood it well.

That is why in the Dead Sea Scrolls it was predicted by Prophet Isaiah that only one in a thousand would be able to stand in front of Messiah Joseph, and that the rest would flee.

So what does you dream mean?

Your dream is telling you that dark energy that you are looking at is shutting you down. In other words, at this point of your souls evolution it is not healthy for you or your consciousness. Hence why the engine shut off.

No power, no brakes, = no control. That is about surrender to the divine.

Your truck died, the vehicle wasn't taking you to where you are meant to go.

What is the vehicle? Its symbolic of the self.

You have a choice surrender to the divine or the truck will die.

I had a vivid dream last week.

Somehow I was aware of the presence of Christ, he was somehow around.

Then thousands of needles came toward me and stabed me all over my body.

I called Christ and screamed, full of deadly fear.

Suddenly the needles moved in front of me forming an unbelievable and amazing artwork, like a dancing queue of most complicated and fascinating patterns.

I woke up sweating and had lost all fears, I felt an urge to say thanks to God.

Really strange...

Excellent TG, sounds like divine acupuncture. That indicates there has been energetic blockages co-created to do with fear of the unknown. That would also indicate past life memories brought in this life that co-created it.

The needles were important for the energetic clearance so it indicates an oriental past life to do with pain and fear of the medics.

The medical profession in the 21st century use the needles of acupuncture for pain relief.

No breakes mean you feel like your out of control in life. Maybe something is affecting you that you have no control over?

We keep so much from our friends and family. Why can't we all just say
how we feel and not get mad at each other?

Your explanation makes perfect sense. Very Freudian. Thanks.

Everything is out of control. Funny you put it that way, in that case I have had many dreams lately of no brakes in my truck. Hadn't thought of that. I was thinking too much into the lights going out and the truck dieing.

@eliakim, a little bit of topic but i was wondering this

Yesterday after reading this post I saw the movie Submarine (2010/2011?) The main character a boy about 15 years old, has these vivid daydreams.
He start the movie with a comment; something like: most people think of themselves as individuals, that there is noone on the planet like them. This thought motivates them to get out of bed, eat food and walk around like nothing is wrong. Then he starts this daydream while he is in class; about him beeing deceased and the rector is pronouncing this, and everytbody grieves like it was the greatest lost ever.

My friend and i got into a discussion after this scene, I tld him i used to have simular daydreams at school at that age, i also dreamed i saved the boy i secretely loved in a ninja way. I mostly had heroic/romantic dreams. Then i explained i was really shy at that age and never dared to talk to people i secretely loved. I was shy and felt very different in a way. But wasn't really insecure about myself. So i guess daydreams like that kind of were an expression of me wanting a situation that makes it possible for me to show my great me, because noone realy thought of me as special except myself. (they only thought of me as special weird)

Now my friend told me these daydreams were about the ego, and a unhealthy way of wanting conformation and attention. He said these dreams could be a logic outcome of a lack of attention from for example our parents in our childhood. But is ísn't a good way to think of yourself as a hero or special person in your dreams, meaning it only contributes to your ego.

Me myself don't find it very harmfull, but i was wondering what you guys thing about having these types of dreams. I used to have a lot.
