Also that other book baghadavita? tells of great wars on earth, then that also must have happened during this timespan.

I think the earth has been here for a while and it has been cleansed and repopulated over and over again..

ps. I dont believe in evolution either.

Your observation about cycles may not refute the young earth theory. This particular cycle may be just one cycle in a great many cycles. If we take this as fact, then couldn't the earth, at least this cycle, be just 6000 years old ? What we seem to see in these stories of Atlantis and the megalithic structures we see, looks to be the leaking through of knowledge from one age to the next. Certainly the megalithic builders understood that their age (cycle) would come to a close. Perhaps leaving those huge stone structures was for the people of later ages to discover.
