CDC does not call it hallucinations, they say that symptoms are attributable to other diseases. And the fibers taken from the skin were tested and found to be ordinary clothing fibers - are we saying that the disease makes people manufacture dyed cotton weaves from their skin? Of course not.

The problems are real, they are just other diseases, not a new one.

The only thing the CDC called delusional were the crawling sensations in the skin.

CDC:

The CDC researchers issued the results of their multi-year study in January 2012, indicating that there were no disease organisms present in Morgellons patients, the fibers found were normal clothing fibers, and suggested that patients' sensations were manifestations of “delusional infestation”.
