lol okay! so last night! got free tickets to the Daytona 300 race for today, Me and this beautiful girl and I were like "lol dont watch nascar, dont know shit about racing but lets go!!" HAHA went to the race, 5 minutes on the track the first CRASH happened 5 feet in front of us and i got Shrapnel in my eye ball!

so I got something that soothes my soul after being with a bunch of Car hart , camo wearin, Car racin junkies!!!!!!

I saw hank III at the firestone here in orlando, he is a crazy man!!!!! just like his father and Grandpa!! but good music though!!!!

hahaha I had alot of fun, race started at 1:15 but lol we kinda didnt get there til like 2:00 with 58 laps to go, the first crash happened, THEN that DALE Jr guy crashed and then a crash RIGHT before the last lap! lol I loved it!!! first race ever and first Live action crash!!!!! was a great un-unusual date HAH

It's one of those songs that - for some strange reason - got me hooked immediately and got me to buy the picture disc LP... just because I love the photo on it.



The song has this haunting atmosphere and the kind of unsettling hints of despair that seem to resonate with something deep inside of me. I still have to figure out what it all means though
Looking back at the picture, all I can think about now is "The Fountain", the scene where he climbs the Tree of Life... Strange how, after some years, certain things seem to blend together to form just another piece of the giant puzzle we call Life.

@ digerdawg : that song instantly reminded me of another unsettling favourite of mine...

Wow, Kerr, I have always been a huge fan of Hank Williams. The father of country music. He rocks. Liked a few of Jr's songs. I've never heard the IIIrd. He pretty damn awesome. At least in the ones that you posted. Do you notice the strong vintage influence, in both instrumentation and style. I dig it. Thanks for the intro.

This guy is pretty good- well, I like him. Just so ya know though, my taste in music really runs across all boundries- though Alternative is where's it's at for me, there's really not too much that I don't like, except for modern country- with a few exceptions- and Yoko. Heh heh. The first is one of my favorites by him. The next two are pretty good songs. I like them. Check him out if you haven't heard him. If you don't really care for the first song, listen to the second, and the third. He has a great range and technique.
