must register???

yeah ok so today i went to upload some pics from my favorite image host "imageshack"
and usually i just upload the pics anonymously... welll guess what it let me upload my pics and when they were done uploading a message popped up saying you must register to view pics or get url codes..!!!!! so i tried a smaller batch of photo's same message appeard... sooo i went to photobucket and i also can no longer upload their as an anonymous user....
so am i correct to believe that you must register all photo's online now so they can be tracked to the user??
has anybody else tried uploading anonymous pics today?

I've never uploaded anonymously, I use photobucket though (thought you always needed an account there, guess not? :headscratch:

)

We can probably thank the SOPA bill for this, so that way they know whos uploading pirated shit, and for what reasons. (all they would need to do is google search the image url and watch what pops up to where it is posted.)

What were you uploading that you could not do by registering ?

i was uploading a cool picture of a marijuana plant i found online trying to post it at cannabis culture forums. then i just tried regular photo's with the same end result...

here ill link image shack and try it yourself just move the cursor over media upload and browse photo's... they never ever ever asked you to register it was an option. up load a pic and see the message you will receive.. your photo is now hostage.

troll is right-i used it early n no question of registering-it wont be long though

soon EVERYTHING will be register or GTFO :nails:

theres a imageshack iphone app i use which is cool also but havent checked out the others so will do-i love memgenerator

but ya gotta register but u have the added option of easily adding text and its easy to copy image location for forums etc-image shack sometimes gives me problems when resizing.
