My Educated Take on Occupy Wall Street

As an American born American, a middle class income worker, a victim of the 2008 bank-designed and executed financial collapse, I have to say something about Occupy Wall Street. Why is this not taking 100% of the news, and ALL television time?

Why is Elen Degeneres still getting her 60 minutes of air time.

Why does Two and a Half Men not get interrupted for a live stream of Wall Street?

This thing is huge, I mean huge. Thousands of people are out there, pissed at the banks, pissed at how Obama Bin Laden rewarded the banks for their 2008 heist of America’s well being and livelihood, and are demanding a revolution in the American banking system. Why is it that the mainstream media takes ten to fifteen minutes a day talking about Linsay Lohan being in custody again, but Occupy Wall Street is a quip on the late night edition of the news?

I’m serious, I have seen “passive resistant” females getting body slammed by NYPD on you tube, but the mainstream media is not showing any of that. Passive resistant is a legal term, and you can not do anything more than take the arm of a passive resistant person and “guide” them away from where they are standing their ground. They can be yelling, cussing, and verbally refusing all they want, and as long as they go when you guide them, all they are is passive resistant, and you CAN NOT body slam a person who is passive resistant. I’m a jackboot wearing motherfucker, I KNOW THE LAW!

This thing is FUBAR, and shame on NYPD for doing the bank’s bidding. Shame on Obama Bin Laden for not being in New York talking to the protesters. Shame on every single member of the media for “playing this whole thing up”.

Government, cops and media are all one body, that is why it is what it is, applaud the 100 or so cops who have refused to police this, I seriously fear for cops in the future because they have been set up to be the fall guys, unfortunately too many are too stupid to see what they are doing to the public, until the day it happens to one of their family, it will come to them.
TV is all a distraction and should be turned off, it was suppose to be about entertainment, not war propaganda and stupidity, Kardashian this Kardashian that, who the fuck are they? talented? no, just distractions.

100% correct on all counts. I have a cousin who's a NYPD officer, as is her husband. I feel for her safety, but I know for a fact they are being ORDERED to participate in this shameful act because their boses want to be relected, and their bosses get campaign funds from the banks.

Well, if the people can stand up to them, surely they can stand up to their bosses?
A lot of the military lads are turning their backs on their leaders, cops need to do the same, I appealed on here to cops to stand up late last year, as I felt it was only a matter of time that the people turned on them, so many videos of them committing brutality all over the USA, that the people would turn against them, sadly that has been borne out in Florida, a record number of cops have been killed or injured this year, they need to wake up and see what is going on, or I genuinely fear for them.
Is their role to protect the people or high ranking criminals? like banks etc

The bank defaulted on his savings? Did he file a claim with the FDIC? 2008 was when Washington Mutual failed - was that his bank?

This is one of those situations that's so fucking horrible that is seriously becomes fucking hilarious! It will be a long bumpy fucking ride but there's just got to be greener pastures beyond this I know it. Oh and...after USA becomes a third world country, you can't bring your guns to Canada...the punishment here for possesion is life...and murder is 3 lives back to back.

Foreclosure. Banks brought the value of my home up 125%, then dropped it back to lower than I originally paid for it. A lot of us lost our homes in that small Arizona town. Had to file bankruptcy, because the bank has the legal right to sue me for the difference. I lost a lot of money on that deal, and Obama Bin Laden never came to me with a "bail out" he gave it to the banks.
